Schautour am Simplon

This snowshoe trail leads from the valley station of the Rothwald ski lifts over the marked trail into the upper Rothwald, up the Jochtwald to the Panorama Restaurant Mäderlicka. From there it goes down into the impressive "Durstbach Gorge" to the "Durstbach Bridge" (junction). Then it continues over the groomed Wasmer road/slope to the mountain inn Wasenalp. Behind the restaurant, the marked trail runs over the "Hackber" down to "d'Obru Egge" and from there back to the Hotel Ganterwald and over the sidewalk of the national road back to the starting point.
