This is a wonderful high altitude hike above Zermatt, starting at the Sunnegga gondola mountain station. The trail goes towards the Höhtalli (3275m) peak, between the Stockhorn and the Gornergrat peaks. The path descends going via Rotenboden to Riffelberg.
